Floridians Rank High in Well-Being

It’s more than just the sunshine.

We’re doing pretty well here in Florida.

Gallup and Healthways released the annual State of American Well-Being rankings yesterday, and Florida came in at No. 11, just below Texas.

The study rates every state in five categories based on survey responses. Floridians rated in the top 10 when it came to physical health, sense of purpose and social support. However, we were just average when it came to community likability and financial stability.

Hawaii, once again, finished first.

Florida has traditionally done well in these types of surveys. Last year, it ranked high for senior living, and Naples was named the happiest town in America.
