It seems that many of our tech toys—iPads, iPhones, laptops, cell phones, video game controllers—include nickel in their cases. And nickel is one of the most common causes of allergic contact dermatitis. So if you've got rashes or outbreaks, you may literally have an unhealthy relationship with your gadgets. Luckily, all you have to do is put them in one of those protective cases, and that seems to help most sufferers. If not, consider mittens.
