Sip & Sample 2016

Hosted by The Village Shops on Venetian Bay to benefit The Friends of Foster Children Forever

BY November 29, 2016

The Friends of Foster Children Forever (FFCF) 7th annual Sip & Sample event was a huge success this year bringing in over 300 attendees. Held on November 17 at The Village Shops on Venetian Bay, the event was a collaborative effort with the shops and restaurants to raise money to benefit local foster children in our community.

Besides the festive music and decorations, guests enjoyed wine, appetizers, and special raffles throughout the evening. From crab cakes and beef wellington to delicious desserts, the night was filled with a wide selection of reds, whites and bubbles to please any palette.

“Everyone had a wonderful time,” said Jane Billings, Executive Director of FFCF. “The merchants worked extra hard this year to make this the best year ever. It’s becoming quite the social event for Naples, and all of course to help fund educational tutoring for local foster children.”

The FFCF mission is to focus on the children they serve by providing targeted educational and enrichment opportunities that allow each child to fulfill his or her potential. The charitable organization works to fulfill the unmet needs of every child who enters, or is at risk of entering the foster care system in Collier, Hendry and Glades Counties.
