Bottoms Up: Wine at Cooper's Hawk

BY June 15, 2016

When Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants announced it was building a Napa-inspired tasting room and eatery in Naples, we couldn’t help but think it was an ideal blend with our beachside Bacchanal culture. The proprietary wines may not elicit high scores from Robert Parker devotees, but there’s merit in swirling a glass of the Winemaker’s Barrel Reserve or trying the Lux tasting flight. The former is a merging of Bordeaux varietals poured straight from the cask into glasses or 750mL decanters. The flight, a sampling of eight higher-end bottles (aged longer and in French as opposed to American oak), is only $12—and a fun start or end to a festive night.
