When two Naples tastemakers decide to open a restaurant, we better pay attention.
When they’re trustees and past co-chairs of the Naples Winter Wine Festival—and their project is a bistro inspired by an underground wine cave with access to the hand-picked vintages sold in their boutique, Naples Wine Collection, next door—it’s a big freakin’ deal.
The North Naples space in the Galleria Shoppes at Vanderbilt has been built out, and they’re inviting people in for an early taste. “We do wine tastings on a weekly basis in Naples Wine Collection.
As for the restaurant, she spilled that the menu has already been written by Sebastian Mazzotta, a private chef and professional member of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs who has been consulting on the project. (He is helping to find someone to man the kitchen as well.) They’re also in the process of building an outdoor patio with room for about 30 seats, and craft cocktails are in the cards, as they just got approved for a liquor license.
Eating well and drinking well in a stunning setting seems like the perfect blend—and we can thank the Dixons once everything falls into place.
