In Naples, there’s a never-ending flow of wine—especially this time of year.
But when you’re getting to sample unique picks from a local legend and the team she has assembled at no cost at all—on a weekly basis—that’s when our ears really perk up.
Tony’s Off Third has been a standby in the local wine market for years, thanks to the discerning palate of its co-owner, Sukie Honeycutt. She and the others on staff who manage the beverage program at the bakery, coffee and wine shop “off” Third Street South have started hosting “Wine Wednesdays,” where anyone can stop by and sample the day’s two selected wines from 4:30-6:30 p.m. No purchase is necessary—just a thirst to hear about whatever finds have made their way into the shop’s bins—but who knows? Perhaps the varietals Honeycutt sniffs out at the time you drop by may be just what would make sense for your next dinner party.
