The only organization in SWFL that provides free diapers on a consistent basis to low-income working families. These families depend on Baby Basics and are so grateful for the help. At distribution sites, they tell volunteers about how the money they would normally spend on diapers goes to buy food, pay rent or purchase medicine for their babies. The entire family feels the impact as the team also provides a supportive atmosphere and community for these struggling families. It is a simple program, but one that is so needed.

With the mission of “Communities coming together to end hunger,” Meals of Hope believes its job is to feed people. As the largest food pantry provider in SWFL, Meals of Hope operates more than nine food pantries, giving out frozen meat, fresh produce and canned goods to approximately 3,000 families each week.
