Major additions to amenities are planned at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort in North Naples. Work began last week on a project that includes a new outdoor restaurant, pool bar and event lawn targeted for completion by the end of November, as well as new swimming pools, a lazy river, waterslides and more to be completed next May, according to a news release from the local luxury hotel.
The new immersive water activities will occupy more than 14,000 square feet adjacent to the hotel and include a new adult pool, children’s pool and play areas, two body waterslides, a tube waterslide and a 600-foot lazy river. The adult pool will have six private cabanas, each with an indoor/outdoor living concept, wet bar and flat-screen TV. A new pool deck with chaise lounges, chairs and umbrellas are also part of the project.
The new outdoor restaurant and pool bar will be a contemporary casual dining concept featuring natural wood, wicker and teak furniture designed in warm tones with lush greenery incorporated throughout. The new 3,600-square-foot event lawn will be located just off of the main dining patio.
The remastering design is a collaboration of Cooper Carry and Parker Torres Design. “We are thrilled to add these new amenities for our guests,” says Guillaume Benezech, hotel manager of The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort, Naples. “Our guests love spending time outside and through this new project, we are able to enhance their resort experience with the addition of new spaces to play, relax and dine outside in the warm Florida sunshine.”
During the project, the pool area will be closed; however, resort guests will continue to have access to all of the amenities at the beach resort, with complimentary transfers between both resorts offered on a regular daily schedule.
