The 12th Annual Naples International Film Festival (NIFF) returns at the end of the month with a hybrid celebration of independent cinema. Running from Thursday, Oct. 22 through Sunday, Oct. 25, the festival features virtual screenings—including more than 60 films you can screen from home, at your leisure—as well as in-person events.
All the in-person happenings take place outdoors at the newly renovated Norris Garden on the Kimberly K. Querrey and Louis A. Simpson Cultural Campus at Artis—Naples. Plan to go on Thursday night for the opening night celebration featuring a showing of the The Donut King, the rags-to-riches story of a Cambodian refugee who built a donut empire. Then, return on closing night to catch Banksy Most Wanted, a film about the elusive street artist. Check the calendar for other anticipated, in-person screenings on Friday and Saturday.
Tickets for the virtual films go on sale on Saturday, Oct. 3, while tickets for the in-person events are available beginning Wednesday, Oct. 7. For the full lineup of films and to purchase tickets, visit Artis—Naples' website.
