Architect Richard Geary’s Hyper-Organized Kitchen
Richard Geary designed and constructed every detail in his Naples home, down to the custom slots for the cutlery in his kitchen drawers. Beneath the centerpiece scissor-truss ceiling, the concrete-like floor is made of cork for comfort and appliances are hidden by ash paneling. Pottery by Gail, Richard’s beloved late wife, is displayed on shelves and the bold painting by Mexican artist Jazzamoart at the end of the Basaltina (a type of lava stone from Italy) island brings the room together.
