Those first waking moments, even before you have a (hopefully) nutrient-rich breakfast, can determine what kind of day you’re going to have. So make them fulfilling. People who looked at just 3 minutes of negative news in the morning were about 30 percent more likely to have a bad day compared with people who held off on reading, according to a University of Pennsylvania study.
