Grow House Salad at The Grill
When it comes to dry-aged steaks, it’s best not to mess with a good thing. But for the opening act, hit us with your best shot. We have lately been eyeing the handiwork of chefs rewriting the farm-to-table playbook at The Grill. The Ritz-Carlton, Naples’ steakhouse has been a haunt for well-heeled travelers and locals alike since it debuted three decades ago, but it’s gaining national attention for a futuristic hydroponic farm parked outside called the Grow House. In this salad, baby red romaine, bibb and arugula lettuces are picked just hours before ending up on your plate and augmented by delicate supremes from a trio of local citrus (orange, pomelo and blood orange), roasted golden beets, creamy goat-milk ricotta and a crunch of candied hazelnuts. An instant steakhouse classic, if you ask us.
