March: In like a lion, out like a—you know how the saying goes. But when thinking of lamb these days, we’re focused on the savory yet slightly sweet shish kebab at Mediterrano. Fired up on the grill with a fig-balsamic glaze, it is paired with spice-steeped couscous and slabs of golden beets. A touch of spring comes from a heaping of watercress, slivers of mint and a drizzle of yogurt. The restaurant itself started quietly a year ago, closed for the entire summer and then reopened in the midst of season at double its original size with a new chef.
