Bone Hook Brewery's First Cornhole Tourney Has Great Hook

What's better than beer, beanbags and big bucks for charity?

Sometimes it feels like no barbecue in Florida is complete without a round of cornhole. Take advantage of the plethora of them this time of year to brush up on your skills, because landing beanbag after beanbag on those wooden targets might land you a lot more than just bragging rights.

Yep, Bone Hook Brewing Co. in North Naples’ Creekside Corners is reeling in participants to join its first-ever cornhole tourney on June 3—something it's anticipating will be an annual event.

Truth be told, it's two tournaments in one. A "V.I.P. Sponsor" tournament will start at 11 a.m. and a “Masters” tournament will commence at 3 p.m. The main difference between the two is the stakes involved—the entry fee for teams of two in the earlier draw is $200 with a $2,000 purse that winners can donate to a charity of their choice, whereas the later competition is $50 per duo to participate and the top prize is a $100 gift card to the brewery.

All day long people can bring beach chairs to lounge around the parking lot and order as many brews of the 20-odd on tap as they'd like (it’s pay as you go), plus two bands will take turns entertaining between 3 and 10 p.m. (Not to mention, a bounce house and balloon artist will be there to entertain kiddos.)
