Yes, we not-so-secretly wish he were accompanied by Paul Simon, but we’re excited nonetheless about Art Garfunkel’s first Naples performance. (Truth be told, we’ll take almost anything that leads us back to the smart and soulful folk rock of yesteryear and away from the Top 40 of today, but Garfunkel has rightfully earned his place.) At Artis—Naples on Jan. 14, Garfunkel will play some of his solo work, as well as works by the duo that made him and his hair so famous. He may have lost a bit of those locks since then, but the poet in him remains.
