Artis—Naples has gone a little bit country. Well, for the moment. The center’s country acts are notably seldom, but the pioneering Dwight Yoakam is among those appearing this year, on Nov. 5 (as is LeAnn Rimes, performing Dec. 4). His signature brand of honky-tonk will certainly bring out the boots and jean jackets. While Randy Newman isn’t a country star, the decorated composer/pianist and his warble are surely as distinct as Yoakam and worth mentioning. He plays at Artis—Naples on Nov. 21.
