Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall will become a legitimate house of blues for two nights this month, Feb. 13 and 17, both times for one Joe Bonamassa. Bonamassa has graced Southwest Florida before, but he’s that good on the guitar, so we’re excited anew. (Hello, he opened for B.B. King at age 12.) The shows are the first and third stops on his spring tour, so you know he’ll be sufficiently revved up to deliver the type of performance that leaves no question as to why he has been able to hold his own playing alongside Eric Clapton, Stephen Stills, Buddy Guy, Derek Trucks and more. And if classic rock is more your thing, Kansas plays there a few days later on Feb. 23.
