David Kidd’s acrylic-on-birch panel pieces have the comforting, ethereal effect of peering at your favorite tree through a rain-streaked window. Doug Foltz gives us moody paintings of landscapes and seascapes, many reminiscent of a moment in time in our treasured Southwest Florida. And each artist succeeds in making us feel small in the best way, as we should feel in the face of glorious Mother Nature.
