Calendar Highlight: Sacred Symmetry

See butterflies like you've never seen them before in an exhibit running Friday through March 27 at the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center.

The butterfly has long been a symbol of soulful, captivating beauty, and a Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center exhibit featuring the critters March 4-27 is no different. Sacred Symmetry, created by young Ukrainian artist and FGCU graduate Alina Eydel, shows us colorful and kaleidoscopic configurations of an insect that is at once enduring and fleeting. The materials are sustainably farmed, so no need to feel guilty about enjoying the gorgeous display.
