But we highly suggest you enjoy just that, along with festive live music, at the Smoke on the Water Barbecue Competition and Music Festival May 15 and 16 at the Fort Myers River Basin. The beneficiary Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center invited state and national barbecue teams for the second year to compete in a qualifier for the Jack Daniel’s World Championship—last year’s event drew 30 groups—and with $10,000 on the line, you can bet the results will be mighty tasty.
