Naples
Felipe’s Mexican Taqueria: Cinco de Mayo party from 3 to 10 p.m. Wristband holders get into a stage-side VIP tent to enjoy live music, five complimentary drink tickets (like house margaritas and sangria) and a free taco bar. Wristbands are $100.
FUSE Global Cuisine: Smoked margaritas and tequila flights all day.
Immokalee Pioneer Museum: On Saturday, May 6, learn about the history and origin behind the Cinco de Mayo tradition with a night of cultural activities and food. Admission is free.
Mercato: Go for the live music, libations and bites from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. After, the party moves inside Rocco’s Tacos.
Occasions of Naples: Cinco de Mayo-themed flower bouquets, with the Paradise Passion (roses, birds of paradise, purple asters) or The Empress (roses, alstroemeria, lilies) to wish them well on Cinco de Mayo. Bouquets start at $85.
The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburón: Chef Aldo Novoa Rodriguez prepares a buffet laden with ceviche and arroz a la tumbada. Don’t miss the live music and margaritas, either. Seatings at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. $95 for those 13 and older, $40 for ages 2 to 12 and free for those younger.
Tacos & Tequila Cantina: Live band Rock Republic performs at the Davis Boulevard location in Naples.
Fort Myers + Cape Coral
Coastal Dayz Brewery: Partners with the under-construction Swamp Cat Brewing Company for free samples, stickers, shirts and live music. Their Cinco de Mayo special: A $5 crisp lime Coastal Cat Ale. Admission is free.
Eight-Foot Brewing: Joins with Nguyen Street—a local fusion food truck—for drinks and Mexican fusion food.
Gulf Coast Town Center: This all-ages function features live music, face painting and frozen mocktails in the courtyard from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The Hideaway .Bar: Start here for the registration party for a bar crawl through downtown Fort Myers, including exclusive drinks for the “crawlers,” souvenirs and a lineup of margaritas, tacos and tequila. Tickets start at $15.99.
Mamaritaville: Cinco de Mayo-themed Moms’ Night Out event, with $5 “Mamaritas” in honor of motherhood. Earlybird tickets are $10.
Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center: Cinco de Mayo with DJ JC, drinks at the rooftop bar, live music and panoramic views of downtown Fort Myers. Donations encouraged.
The Workshop Culinary Theater: On May 3, the Luminary Hotel’s culinary theater offers three drinks and three bites for $30, with fried oyster tacos, duck carnitas and lobster tamales paired with Dobel Diamante tequila, 400 Conejos mezcal and Maestro Dobel 50 Cristalino as drinks. Tickets are $30.
