Carefree Spirit
Fort Myers designer Constance Davidson captures the carefree vibe of Captiva Island in the sitting room of this private beach home. Its rascal parrot-green Lee Industries chaises, raspberry walls and Thibat wallpaper, and touches of orange crush and cinch yellow (in the accent tables and Stray Dog Design floor lamp) match the whimsical and vibrant personalities of its owners, she says. The brights also bring out the whites in the room.

Not So Mellow Yellow
Grohe’s new WaterColours spring collection introduces bright primary colors (and tamer tones) to its iconic halo-shaped handheld Rainshower. It’s pretty and precise, ensuring jets converge to create the perfect spray or lessen the downpour while shaving. Shown in yellow and available in five additional colors including purple, pink and tangerine. $150 at Wool Plumbing Supply, Naples and Fort Myers.

New Horizons
The minimalistic Horizon wall-mounted stove hood, available in three finishes including this eye-catching candy-apple red, has a pedigree steeped in the tech world. Part of Zephyr’s Arc Collection, the sleek design was created by Robert Brunner, a former Apple computer designer and the genius behind the Kindle and the Beats by Dre headphones. Simplistic and geometric, the Horizon resembles an oversized iPad, and its red surface on stainless steel can be etched with chain link or leaf motifs. The panel removes for ease in cleaning. $3,589 at Design Studio by Raymond, Naples.

Bathroom Blues
With curves in all the right places and a vibrant blue hue (bonus for its lacquered finish), Hastings Tile & Bath’s Onda vanity collection brings brights into the bath. Mix and match with 36 matte or gloss colors and a handful of high-sheen solid-surface countertops. Optional LED lighting also illuminates drawer interiors. Completely customizable, the collection starts at $4,500. Find out more at hastingstilebath.com.

Art Rocks
The J.A. Willy Gallery in Naples represents several artists whose work is awash in color. Pat Bailey’s Beach Balls #2, an original oil on canvas ($4,200), plays with the bright end of the color spectrum, as does Diane Davic Craig’s whimsical The Great Escape, original oil on cradled panel ($3,200).

A Chair Affair
The aptly named Bell Flower Chartreuse fabric from London amps up the wattage of CR Laine’s Judy chair with its field of lily-of-the-valley bell flowers aligned to create floral stripes in chartreuse, gray and white. $2,775 as shown with medium pewter nail trim at Alison Craig Home Furnishings, Naples.
