KrmmDiningTable-JuneNature
Spoiler alert: Gulfshore Life’s June issue Design Trends pays homage to Mother Nature and the inspirational furniture and artwork derived from the world around us. Live-edge tables have proven so popular, we could have devoted the entire Design Trends column to them alone. Here’s a taste of what you’ll be seeing—and wanting—come June:
Century Furniture’s Ming dining table combines the raw beauty of a natural-edge walnut slab with a black, nickel-plated, metal, double-pedestal base. A statement piece, for sure. $17,997 at Interiors by Design West, Naples.
Kira Krümm introduced a similar combo of live-edge walnut with a modern stainless steel base in her client’s Bonita Springs beach house. The 10-foot table (shown above and at bottom), part of Kira Krümm International Design’s Koastal collection, is $24,600.
