Chances are if you’re sitting on your Naples lanai reading this, you’re somewhat relieved the seasonal crush is gone. It’s a perfect excuse to saunter on over to Third Street South for a leisurely Sunday brunch. Ridgway Bar & Grill (ridgwaybarandgrill.com) has long been a standard for top-notch American comfort food, but its brunch cocktail menu has recently caught our eye. You can get your fill of bloody marys and bellinis, but how about considering a “Champagne Classic” with Gloria Ferrer Brut and a cube of brown sugar infused with Fee Brothers orange bitters? Or “Sukie’s Sassy Sangria” with Spanish Grenache, citrus and a spike of cinnamon? In total there are about nine drinks on offer, depending what ingredients are freshest. And, planning ahead, during season until mid-May, Ridgway serves brunch on Saturdays, too.
