The_Sunshine_State
If you came here for your golden years, you’re in the right place. Florida is the best state for retirees, according to a study from WalletHub.
The study looked at a range of factors in determining which states are the best for old age, including cost of living, quality of life and health care accessibility. Florida also topped the nation when it comes to affordability, meaning a relatively low cost of living along with low taxes and reasonably priced health care services make life a little easier. And, of course, you can’t go wrong with our sunny skies and abundant beaches.
Rounding out the top five were Colorado, South Dakota, Iowa and Virginia. The worst place to retire? Kentucky.
