The buzz about Naples hottest restaurant opening this season is spreading. HobNob Kitchen and Bar was recently named among reservation site OpenTable’s Top 100 Hot Spot Restaurants for 2014. The new venture from former Handsome Harry’s owner Michael Hernandez joined the ranks of some of the biggest celebrity chef openings in the country, including new restaurants from Jose Andres and Jean-Georges Vongerichten, and Sur Restaurant, which is featured on the Bravo reality show Vanderpump Rules.
Florida is a hotbed of exciting new restaurants according to the OpenTable list, with 14 places making the grade. Most are in Miami and Fort Lauderdale, but Winter Park, Orlando, Palm Beach and Coral Gables also have restaurants on the list.
