When it comes to Thanksgiving, nothing beats carving a bird at home—unless the thought of cooking a turkey for 10 gives you a minor panic attack. Put an end to the palpitations by having skilled chefs behind some of our best restaurants and catering teams do the work for you.
The Local: A locavore feast for eight to 10 with an organic turkey, green beans, cranberry sauce, stuffing, mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie can be picked up hot on Thanksgiving Day for just $350. Act fast, though, because orders close Nov. 18.
Crave Culinaire: Impress guests with a gourmet spread delivered to your door on Thanksgiving from this favored caterer on the social circuit—menus start at $50 for a choice of kale or spinach salad, turkey and three sides. Hors d’oeuvres, more sides and pies can be added. (Last day to reserve is Nov. 23.)
Wynn’s Catering: The team at Wynn’s, starting with chef Yannick Brendel puts customer satisfaction first, with options ranging from picking up a few dishes to cooking and serving a multi-course meal in your home. The a la carte Turkey Day menu even goes so far as to include a cornucopia with “autumn flowers” and other centerpieces that can decorate your table.
Sage Events: Known for gluten-free and paleo meal deliveries, this caterer has two cost-effective dinner menus ($250 for 10, $400 for 16) with healthy options like gluten-free stuffing or non-dairy creamed spinach (in addition to regular holiday indulgences) that can be delivered to your home the day before Thanksgiving.
Matthews and Gardner: A bird is just the beginning of this completely a la carte menu. Build an ideal dinner, should you care to start with butternut squash soup or beet-blackberry salad (or both!)—and end on a high note with pecan pie and chocolate-raspberry bread pudding. (Orders must be in by Nov. 20.)
