If you’ve never been to Silverspot Cinema (www.silverspotcinema.com/) at Mercato in Naples, you should stop reading this immediately and rush over there to catch a flick. It is arguably the best movie theater in Florida. And we say “arguably” only because some people just like to argue.
Silverspot has a beautiful restaurant and bar built in and the most comfortable leather seats on the planet. And did we mention you can bring your beer or champagne right into the theater? Do you have any idea how much more entertaining “Jack and Jill” will be under the influence? Considerably.
By the way, it just occurred to us that the people who stopped reading when we told them to and are on their way to Silverspot (literally in the first sentence), will be greeted by live wolves.
Wolves you say? Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you already know that “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1” premiered at midnight and tonight will be an absolute madhouse at theaters across the country. But members of Team Jacob who hit Silverspot tonight are going to get the thrill of a lifetime between 5 and 7 p.m. because two live wolves (yep, you read that right) from the Shy Wolf Sanctuary (www.shywolfsanctuary.com) will be on hand to welcome fans and draw attention to the Exotic Animal Awareness Project.
That’s right, you can get your photo taken with wolves (and that’s about as close as any of you will likely get to Taylor Lautner) and learn how you can adopt these beautiful animals.
So to recap: Twilight premiere. Cushy seats. Alcohol. Live wolves.
