Earlier this year, the Naples community felt a big shock wave pass through when a new, beautiful bakery—a totally from-scratch on-site endeavor—opened up on U.S. 41 just north of Central Avenue.
Now, its co-owners, Ana and Yannick Brendel (Yannick a third-generation baker from the village of Colmar in the land of croissants and madeleines), are spinning out yuletide cheer. It's taking the form of traditional pastries, from a picture-perfect bûche de noël to sugar cookies and festive pies (place orders by calling 315-4303).
Additionally, the couple, who have settled in Naples and are raising their children there, announced they’re collecting new unwrapped toys for kids ages 1 to 12 at the bakery until Monday, Dec. 18, to bring to the First Assembly Ministries of Immokalee for distribution on Christmas Eve.
Also in the spirit of generosity and connectivity in the community, stay tuned for expanded hours that will transform the bakery more solidly into a bistro for the winter season.
