Researchers at the University of Colorado have found that a probiotic bacteria called Mycobacterium vaccae (which grows naturally in soil) can have anti-inflammatory effects in the brain. Essentially, just a little shot and your brain could be more resistant to stress. The shot is still in the research stages, but proponents say it could be primarily used for people with anxiety, depression or post-traumatic stress disorder.
