Drawing Draft Beer into Weizen Glass
Editor's Note: The Naples Craft Beer Fest is officially sold out.
It’s time again to paint the town gold, amber, brown and black.
One of the most popular annual fairs, the Naples Craft Beer Fest, is back for yet another round of day drinking. The tents and crowds will overtake Bayfront on March 3 from noon to 4 p.m.
Aside from the unlimited samples of sips from breweries throughout the nation (including many from our own backyard), bands are lined up to entertain throughout the afternoon. Another unique feature is that 15 local eateries are crafting bites to pair with some of the brews—and anyone who is there can vote on which is best for the People’s Choice Award. (We don’t know about you, but we can’t wait to see what The Bowl, known for its smoothie-like frozen fruit treats, pulls out of its blender.)
To even be able to raise your souvenir tasting glass, you must act fast. Buying tickets in advance is the only way to get them (they’ve consistently sold out each year well before the festival date). And believe it or not, you can set your own price—admission is a donation to the North Naples Rotary Foundation, and 100 percent goes toward funding the service-based organization’s community projects.
