As if you didn’t need any other reason to watch cute doggies run around—Naples will be represented in Puppy Bowl.
Mocha, a 6-month-old weimaraner-pit bull mix, will be representing her hometown in the 13th edition of the Puppy Bowl starting at 3 p.m. this Sunday (Feb. 5). Recently adopted from Humane Society Naples, Mocha had undergone several months of retrieval training and agility courses before taking the field.
Joining her will be 38 other “paw-mates.” These four-legged athletes come from 34 different animal shelters across 22 states.
Get ready to see paws swatting, tails wagging and “ruff”-play penalties for a total of three hours. In case you miss the live action (or just can’t get enough of it), Puppy Bowl will be on repeat all day and night for a total of 10 hours on game day.
