Conde Nast Traveler asked its readers for the 20 best cities for foodies in the United States, and, not surprisingly to many local foodies, Naples made the list. Clocking in at No. 17 in the magazine’s survey, just ahead of Telluride, Colorado and just behind Austin, Texas (NYC came in at No. 1), Naples was noted for its surprisingly diverse choices of dining. Singled out in the piece: the tasty tapas at I.M. Tapas, fabulous French at Cote d’Azur, Italian classics at Caffe dell’Amore, seafood at Truluck’s and the authentic Peruvian cuisine from Inca’s Kitchen.
And if you can’t decide on one type of food for a night out, they recommend Mereday’s Fine Dining, for being awesome at just about everything—as we pointed out when we named them best new restaurant in Collier County earlier this year.
So what are your favorite places in Naples to eat? And are you glad Naples is getting the recognition, or would you rather this little slice of culinary paradise stay our little secret?
