Diane Olivo experienced the "thrill of a life" when she got to help decorate the White House for Christmas.
She was among the 100 or so volunteers selected from across the country that helped tie bows, hang ornaments and otherwise carry on the tradition of making the White House festive through the holiday season. During her stay in D.C., she also got a chance to take part in a White House holiday party, where she saw First Lady Melania Trump speak, met members of the Trump administration and heard the U.S. Marine Band preform. She was ecstatic when she got the invitation and it read: "Mrs. Trump requests the pleasure of your company at the White House holiday party."
This year's theme was Time Honored Traditions, designed by the First Lady to honor more than 200 years of Christmas at the White House.
See her gallery of photos below and a video of the Marine band.
