When a loved one passes away, sometimes we're left with little more than memories. Other times, we're left with stuff. Weird stuff.
To that end the television series Strange Inheritance (airing Monday at 9:30 p.m. on Fox Business) and its host Jamie Colby visits Punta Gorda to meet Lauri Caron, owner of the Octagon Wildlife Sanctuary. When Lauri's rough-and-tumble husband Pete passes away suddenly, she finds herself not only the heir to the sanctuary, but also to mounds of debt, strained relations with state and federal regulators, and an impending foreclosure. Can she overcome what seems like endless hurdles to save the sanctuary and its animal inhabitants? Tune in and see.
