Two of Southwest Florida’s hospitals are among the best in the state, according to a recent study. U.S. News & World Report ranked NCH 10th and Lee Memorial Hospital 18th in Florida in its annual Best Hospitals list. See the full list here.
The Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville was named best in the state. Miami’s Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, which has a branch in Naples, was once again named the best eye care center in the country.
A host of data is considered in the hospital rankings, including patient safety, professional reputation, staffing and several quality of care factors.
