Taking place Tuesday, Feb. 6, at the Naples Grande Beach Resort, the gala benefits The Naples Players. As befits a theatrical organization, guests are actively encouraged to dress as a favorite theater character. To help you play your part, here are some suggestions from which to take your cue: Kinky Boots (don a pair of red thigh-length boots—preferably sparkly); Sister Act (a nun’s habit); Les Misérables (a military-style uniform in red and blue for soldiers; ragamuffin garb and newsboy cap for Éponine); The Wizard of Oz (click your heels as Dorothy Gale in her red shoes, have fun as one of the good witches of the north or south, or be a wicked witch of the east or west). Black-tie is the other option if being center stage (as far as attire goes) isn’t quite for you. Whatever you choose—break a leg.
