Originally scheduled for earlier in the month, the date for this year’s Go Red luncheon has changed to Friday, April 27. Taking place at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa, the event benefits the American Heart Association of Southwest Florida. Traditionally, the dress code for the luncheon is red, and while finding a fiery-hued outfit in spring may have been challenging in previous years, red is in the spotlight this season. There are many different shades, from rose to ruby, so if you feel allover red is not for you, team your tone with a neutral color to ground it. Try scarlet with charcoal gray (less harsh than the ubiquitous red-black combo) or watermelon red and army green for a light, fresh take on color wheel-complementary colors. For the cherry on the top, finish your look with fabulous red nails and a glossy red lip.
