The 2027 Southwest Florida Community Prayer Breakfast will bring the community together at 6 a.m. on Friday, April 30 at Caloosa Sound Convention Center in Fort Myers, featuring American professional surfer Bethany Hamilton as the keynote speaker.
Held in advance of the National Day of Prayer, this year’s breakfast will offer a morning of faith, prayer and fellowship. Known around the world for her resilience and faith, Hamilton inspired millions after surviving a shark attack at age 13 that resulted in the loss of her left arm. One month later, she returned to the water and went on to become a professional surfer. Today, she shares her testimony through speaking engagements, bestselling books and the “All Things Possible” podcast.
The 2027 event includes breakfast at 6 a.m. and a program at 7 a.m. at Caloosa Sound Convention Center, 1375 Monroe St. in Fort Myers. Admission is complimentary, thanks to the generosity of sponsors, but space is limited.
