Florida Blues Staple, the Backtrack Blues Band, is coming to Arts Bonita!Recognized as one of the best Chicago blues bands in the state, the Backtrack Blues Band is a group of performers that have truly mastered their craft. They were founded in 1980 by lead singer-songwriter Sonny Charles. Not only did Charles put together the Backtrack Blues, but he also founded the renowned Tampa Bay Blues Festival, one of the largest blues festivals inAmerica. The band consists of Grammy-award winning bass player Jeff“stick”Davis, lead guitarist and seasoned vocalist Kid Royal, drummer and one of the best blues and jazz percussionists in Florida Joe Bencomo, and co-founder and rhythm guitarist Little JohnnyWalter.The Backtrack Blues are not only one of the greatest blues performers in Florida, but have also formed a close bond as friends, as they’ve performed together consistently for over 30 years.Their bond, talent and dedication make for a show that is unforgettable.
