Open Farm Saturday and Workshops

Empowerment Farm invites the community to experience Second Saturdays on the Farm — a monthly celebration of agriculture, education, and local artisans. On Saturday, May 10, visitors are welcome to join engaging workshops and shop at the Market on the Farm.

The day's activities include two special workshops:

• Microgreens with JusTeeny's Greenies (9:30 AM – 10:30 AM): Learn how to grow your own microgreens, packed with nutrition and easy to cultivate at home.
• Dairy on the Farm (11:00 AM – 12:00 PM): Meet Empowerment Farm’s beloved herd and discover the vital role dairy animals play in sustainable agriculture.

While education is the heart of the event, visitors won’t want to miss the Market on the Farm, featuring locally sourced products and beautifully curated home

accessories. Every purchase helps support Empowerment Farm’s nonprofit mission, making the market a vital part of sustaining educational programs for youth.

Proceeds from Second Saturdays on the Farm benefit Empowerment Farm’s programs, serving students ages 5–15 through farm-based learning experiences.

Times: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Admission: $5 per person OR $10 per person to gain access to BOTH workshops
