Our Flag in American Art at Harmon-Meek Gallery

When gallery director Juliana Meek and director emeritus William Meek discovered a Hunt Slonem flag painting in his studio, they sent out a call for similar artworks to all 15 of the gallery’s represented artists. The resulting exhibit celebrates the nation’s semiquincentennial, with 30 works ranging from a 1935 Adolf Dehn drawing to newly created, representative pieces from Richard Haas, Mally Khorasantchi and Reynier Llanes.
