Sanibel Island 4th of July Parade

The City of Sanibel Island celebrates Independence Day in honor of its 50th anniversary with a community parade down Periwinkle Way. After, locals compete in the Sanibel-Captiva Optimist Club Road Rally, a drive-around scavenger hunt played by car for special prizes. When the night settles in, visitors gaze at fireworks launched at the north end of Bailey Road.

Parking will be available at: Forever Green/ACE Hardware, Jerry’s Foods, Tahitian Gardens Shops, Palm Ridge Place, Periwinkle Place Shops, Sanibel Congregational United Church of Christ, Sanibel Community Church, Sanibel Community Park, Sanibel Square, The Community House and The Village Shops.
