Sanibel Shell Fair & Show

The world’s largest and longest-running seashell festival recalls 90 years of Sanibel history and conchology. What began as a small fair has grown into a weekend of artistic and scientific competitions, craft sales, shell exhibitions and activities for all ages. Proceeds support the Sanibel-Captiva Shell Club’s education and research grants, as well as the Community House, which celebrates its centennial in 2027.
