Each month, we tap top Southwest Florida designers to share their favorite global finds. This round features mother-daughter duo Barb and Jenn Zella of CID Design Group—an interior design firm named to Interior Design magazine’s Top 100 Giants list for eight consecutive years. Their curated picks blend natural materials, sculptural forms and a refined approach to modern craftsmanship.

Pendants by Naomi Paul
Pendants by Naomi Paul
Crocheted by hand over the course of up to 60 hours, Naomi Paul’s pendants bring a quiet softness to a room. The London-based designer draws on Japanese design principles and her textile background to create lighting that’s striking and inviting. Made with ethically sourced Egyptian cotton and recyclable birch hooks, each piece honors her commitment to sustainable craftsmanship. Barb and Jenn are drawn to the way the shade filters light with a warm, diffused glow and subtly dampens sound. naomipaul.co.uk

Frame by Paola Lenti
When Italian designer Paola Lenti introduced Rope in the early 2000s, it redefined what outdoor furniture could look and feel like. Made from high-twist, UV-stable polypropylene, the material was among the first to pair the durability of synthetic fiber with the tactile richness of handwoven rope—bringing color, texture and craft to performance-driven design. The Zellas favor it for the brand’s Frame chaise, a low-slung lounger with a fully wrapped silhouette that’s equally suited to high-visibility pool decks, patios or breezy, indoor-outdoor rooms. “It’s the perfect piece to sprawl out on post-swim,” Jenn says. paolalenti.it

Yoku Spa by Effe Perfect Wellness
The Yoku Spa by Italian wellness brand Effe brings the indulgence of a dry sauna, steam room and multisensory shower into 80 square feet (each element can also be installed as a standalone module). Inspired by shinrin-yoku, the Japanese practice of forest bathing, the design combines heat-treated aspen or walnut with bronze-smoked glass and finishes in porcelain or travertine, for a tailored, architectural presence. Engineered for performance and ease, the unit maintains optimal heat and humidity with automated precision. The sensory shower completes the ritual with choreographed cycles of water pressure, light and aromatherapy. “Anything wellness-related, we’re all in,” Jenn says. effe.it

Protea bt Kristy Gammill for Audrey Lane
Protea by Kristy Gammill for Audrey Lane
Last year, Jenn partnered with Naples-based artist Kristy Gammill on a painterly tile collection for the female-founded studio Audrey Lane. The Brick & Brush series reimagines Kristy’s expressive plantings across two mural lines—Soak Stain and Botanicals—each available in a range of palettes. The designs are digitally cropped and scaled to fit your space and fired onto traditional, handcrafted Moroccan zellige. Jenn gravitates toward the blooming Protea design for its muted coral tones and the soft, feminine warmth it brings to a room. audreylane.com
