“I have the hardest time sticking to a workout routine. I’ll be good for a while, and then I’ll get busy and will go a week or two without doing much. What can I do to break this cycle?” —Greg D., Fort Myers
Naples Health coach Michelle Joy Kramer says: You can work out with a friend who is more motivated/active than you. Seek a workout buddy who will hold you accountable! You could also join a local walking, swimming, biking or running group and meet up with them weekly. Most local clubs have a consistent weekly workout calendar, so you can meet the same people each week. The key is to disguise your exercise and enjoy what you are doing. If it feels like a chore, you most likely won’t stick to it long-term!
