Naples, once again, has been named a great place to retire.
This time it’s the editors of Kiplinger’s Personal Finance who place Naples as one of the 12 cities that are “great places to retire for your good health.” The magazine looked at data regarding well-being of residents, access to top-rated hospitals, abundance of parks and other amenities, and overall quality of life. Among the laurels for Naples, the editors noted its No. 1 ranking in the 2014–15 Gallup-Healthways Well-Being index and the benefits of NCH’s Blue Zones Project.
Just add this to the wall of accolades that Southwest Florida has been accumulating in recent years. Cape Coral has been named a top retirement destination a couple times in the past year. And, it wasn’t too long ago that Naples was named the “happiest and healthiest” city in the country.
