At 23, Daniella Ortiz left her native Argentina to study business in Florida, eventually earning an MBA and leading fundraising and development at Nova Southeastern University. The role placed her at the nexus of Palm Beach’s society circles—a training ground in the refined but playful style that now defines her brand. In 2006, she and her husband, Alfredo, launched the Daniella Ortiz label with a store on Worth Avenue.
The handbags are made in Argentina and emphasize exotic leathers, including South African ostrich skin. Philanthropy remains core to the brand, with 15 to 20% of proceeds from charity events benefiting organizations such as the Boys and Girls Club and The Shelter for Abused Women & Children. This month, Daniella opens her fourth boutique—this time on Naples’ Third Street South, where the season’s full calendar demands chic arm candy for every occasion.
